New Song is a Spirit-filled community of followers of Jesus who desire to see our area touched and changed through the presence and power of God. Founded in 1968, we believe our church is called to be an instrument of spiritual renewal and revival in the Pawcatuck-Westerly region.

Called to PURSUE THE PRESENCE OF GOD 

We believe that God’s presence is what changes us and forms us to be more like Him (2 Cor. 3:18), and we value and honor the presence of God in our corporate gatherings and personal lives.

Called to SPIRITUAL FORMATION 

We believe that all corporate renewal begins with personal renewal, so we choose to live in Christian community as wholehearted disciples of Jesus Christ, being shaped daily by His ways and His Word instead of by the culture of our day. We want our lives and ministry to be an expression to all of what it looks like when Jesus is King.

Called to MISSION 

As our lives are changed and healed in God’s presence and through spiritual formation, we believe that we are then empowered by the Holy Spirit to reach out to our families, friends, neighbors, community, and world with the transforming love of God and good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
